My SWOT-analysis

Strengths

My open, cheerful, and approachable demeanor ensures that guests feel at ease right away. I excel at hospitality and make sure guests leave with a positive experience. I have a good sense of what guests need and can anticipate their expectations, while remaining calm and keeping a clear overview, even during busy periods. Leadership experience and motivating colleagues are among my core strengths, along with a keen eye for detail and the guest experience, especially within fine dining service.

Weaknesses

Sometimes I find it difficult to immediately identify the best solution to a problem, which leads me to think more deeply about how to approach it. I tend to take on a lot of responsibility quickly and sometimes find it hard to let go of tasks. I also have a tendency to try to do too much to ensure everything goes perfectly, which can sometimes come at the expense of efficiency.

Opportunities

I see plenty of opportunities to advance into supervisory and management roles. Further developing my skills in fine dining and guest experience is a major goal of mine, especially when combined with my practical experience and my Hotel Management degree. I’m eager to deepen my knowledge of wine, service, and high-end hospitality, and I’m open to working in various settings, both in restaurants and hotels.

Threats

The hospitality industry is known for its high workload and fast pace, which presents a constant challenge. In addition, the irregular work hours are a factor I take into account. It’s important to find a good balance in this area so that I can perform at a high level over the long term and maintain my passion for the hospitality industry.
